We love to celebrate! This week we had the opportunity to gather together to celebrate birthdays and Mother's Day with the ladies of Parkview Church. We are so grateful for the many women of Re:new and those who walk alongside us in our journey.
For the last several months, volunteers have been teaching English classes on Thursday evenings at Re:new. We have partnered with Literacy DuPage and Exodus World Service to bring free classes to the public. It's so exciting to see new students eager to learn each week.
On Monday, we hosted an Open House to unveil an amazing fabric scroll, created by noted calligrapher Timothy Botts. The scroll was created to honor the generous contributors to the 100 Extraordinary Women Campaign. We were able to hire two new Artisans and ten women are learning to sew in our new student class thanks to these generous donations.
