Refugee women can feel not only overwhelmed by their own circumstances, but if they have children they carry an extra, heavy burden. Our Artisans are amazing SUPER MOMS and we are so encouraged by their strength and joy!
Today, we want you to meet Dim! Dim was born in Burma and was granted refugee status and brought to Chicago. She started taking sewing classes at Re:new in 2018 and is now our newest Artisan!

One of our favorite events so far this month was when we partnered with Exodus World Service to deliver groceries and masks to those in need in our local community!
