As a volunteer driven organization, we rely on volunteers and interns to oversee the day-to-day operations and program efforts, and also partner with student groups to complete projects that support our strategic plan.

ACADEMIC INTERNSHIPS

As an intern, know that there's no room for fluff or "light" work. Every task, project or initiative you manage contributes directly to the success of our non-profit operations giving you hands-on experience you can take into any professional work environment.

Internships can be semester-long, full-year or during the summer months.

While we try to accommodate each student's unique needs, we primarily offer academic internships in the following areas:

  • Sales Team
  • Marketing
  • Business Management
  • Communications (social media, blog, website)
  • Development + Fundraising
  • Grant Writing + Corporate Proposals
  • Production Team
  • Design Team

CLASS-BASED PROJECTS

Collaboration is an integral component of our leadership philosophy. We value the passion, energy, and creative ideas that students bring to one-time projects. Each project is unique and directly contributes to the overall vitality of Re:new. Examples of past projects include: a review of our costing forms, implementation of an Instagram plan, assessment of our online collections, the creation of a scalable e-commerce growth plan, the creation of marketing tools (brochures and print materials) and so much more...

We've had the pleasure of working with students from the following academic institutions and are always looking to expand our partnership pool:
